TERMS & CONDITIONS

WAIVER
  • I understand that before attending any Cadence Pilates reformer classes, booking and attendance of a Cadence Pilates 1:1 intro session is mandatory. I understand that if I don’t book this session I will be turned away from attending any classes until I have attended my 1:1 intro session.
  • I have disclosed or will disclose to the Instructor prior to the class commencing, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate in a class. (note: this information should be reported/assessed during your Intro Session.)
  • I will notify the Instructor if I experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if requested by the Instructor to do so.
  • I agree that Cadence Pilates is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend a workout. Cadence Pilates does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become a victim of theft, immediately report it to a Cadence Pilates staff member.
  • Online classes are provided through an instructional model from our Cadence Pilates instructor and will be undertaken within a safe environment in a personal home or venue. I will in no way hold Cadence Physical Therapy trading as Cadence Pilates liable for any injury or damage to personal property during my home-based online class.
  • Online classes may be recorded by the Instructor for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the Instructor using video or still images taken during the class for promotional purposes, please notify the Instructor in writing.
  • I understand that a workout may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Cadence Pilates or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above terms and conditions.

FOUNDATION MEMBERSHIP (AVAILABLE ONLY AT OPENING OF NEW CADENCE PILATES STUDIO)
  • $40 per week (weekly direct debit – non-refundable)
  • No lock-in contract after minimum spend $160 (4 weeks membership cost)
  • Contract will be automatically renewed every 4 payments unless directed by you to cease renewal
  • Entitles you access to unlimited Cadence Pilates classes at your home studio only (i.e. studio of purchase)
  • Classes are subject to availability (bookings are essential)
  • Access to Cadence Pilates On-Demand classes (pre-recorded workouts)
  • Membership can be placed on hold for a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 6 months
  • Membership is non-transferable or refundable
  • Only available for purchase at the opening of a new studio
CADENCE ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP (GRANDFATHERED – NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE)
  • $40 per week (fortnightly direct debit on Monday – non-refundable)

  • Entitles you access to unlimited Cadence Pilates Classes at your home studio only

ALL ACCESS PLUS MEMBERSHIP
  • $55 per week (weekly direct debit – non-refundable)
  • No lock-in contract after minimum spend $220 (4 weeks membership cost)
  • Contract will be automatically renewed every 4 payments unless directed by you to cease renewal
  • Entitles you access to unlimited Cadence Pilates Classes at Cadence Pilates Studio locations
  • Classes are subject to availability (bookings are essential)
  • Access to Cadence Pilates On-Demand classes (pre-recorded workouts)
  • Membership can be placed on hold for a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 6 months
  • Membership is non-transferable or refundable
CADENCE ACTIVE @ HOME (RECORDED WORKOUTS)
  • $10 monthly subscription payment
  • No lock-in contract
  • Entitles you access to the Cadence Pilates library of recorded Mat classes.
  • Recorded classes are accessible on the Cadence Pilates App through the ‘Community’ tab
  • Subscription is non-transferable or refundable
STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS
  • 10% off all the above memberships (excluding Foundation memberships) apply if you hold a student or concession card. 
  • Provide student card in the studio to set up student discounts.
OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
  • Update your contact details should they change so we can keep contact with you as necessary
  • Contact us if your student status changes
  • Pay all agreed fees
  • Inform us in advance if there are any risks to your general health and if required seek approval from your physiotherapist or general practitioner.
  • It is your responsibility to cancel any direct debit agreement with respect to this membership when the agreement is terminated
  • If your automatic direct debit reverses or is returned to us by your financial institution we will attempt to contact you about retrying the direct debit. If the debit remains outstanding it will be processed within 14 days of the reversal with any late fees and reversal fees that apply.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
  • All Cadence Pilates memberships are no lock-in contract after the minimum spend equal to the cost of 4 weeks of the membership
  • Written requests to terminate your membership are to be directed to [email protected]
  • A minimum of 1 weeks notice must be given
  • You must ensure that you have no future bookings after requested termination date otherwise the membership cannot be cancelled and further late cancellation/no show fees may apply
SUSPENSION POLICY
  • Members are entitled to suspend their online membership for a minimum of two weeks and maximum of 6 months
  • Member to complete suspension form
  • The membership will automatically recommence after the suspension period has been completed and debit fees will be adjusted as applicable
  • Membership suspensions cannot be backdated
  • All classes booked during the suspension period must be cancelled by the member before the membership can be suspended
  • Members that want to place their membership on hold for longer than six months will need to cancel their membership and recommence on new membership when they decide to return. Please note that the Foundation membership will not be available for re-purchase if the membership has been cancelled.


BLOCK PASSES & CADENCE CASUAL PASSES:

BLOCK PASSES
  • One class use per booking
  • Entitles you access to Cadence Pilates classes subject to availability (bookings are essential)
  • Late cancels and non-attendance lose class as per cancellation policy
  • Block pass options include 10 for $250 with expiry of 3 months, 20 for $460 with expiry of 6 months and 50 for $850 with expiry of 12 months
  • Block passes may be used across all Cadence Pilates studios
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable
CASUAL PASS
  • Pay per use at studio of purchase
  • Entitles you access to Cadence Pilates classes subject to availability (bookings are essential)
  • $30 per reformer class booking
  • $12 per online mat class booking
  • Late cancel and non-attendance lose class as per cancellation policy
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable
CADENCE INDIVIDUAL
  • 30 min personal training session of reformer/pilates equipment with Cadence Pilates Instructor
  • Not eligible for private health rebates (if you have a clinical issue or concern please book an appointment with one of our Physiotherapists through Cadence Physio for assessment to determine eligibility into our Cadence Refine stream)
  • $60 per individual session (casual pass)
  • $90 per double session (2 people)
  • Block Pass options include: 5 for $285 with expiry of 6 months, 10 for $550 with expiry of 12 months
  • Late cancel and non-attendance lose class as per cancellation policy
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable


BOOKINGS & ATTENDANCE:

BOOKINGS

Classes and Individual Sessions are on a first come first served basis. Classes and Individual Sessions can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance (this due to current COVID-19 uncertainties and are subject to change pending any further Government changes in restrictions). This time period is subject to change.

Bookings can be made via the Cadence Pilates app or online via the bookings link on our website.

WAITLIST

If a class you want to attend is fully booked please sign up for the waiting list. Should a place become available you will receive a Cadence Pilates app push notification advising you that a spot has become available in the class. This notification is sent out to all waitlisted members for the particular class (up to 5). The first to respond and book into the class will fill the available spot. Everyone else will get a second notification saying that the spot has been filled.

CANCELLATION POLICY

At Cadence Pilates our class sizes are small. We value each and every member and as such hope to be able to have availability as open as possible. For group classes cancellations need to be made 9 hours prior. Late cancellations and/or no shows will incur a lost session (for block pass, active memberships and intro offer users) or a ‘Late Cancel Fee’ of $5 will be charged (for Foundation, All Access and All Access Plus memberships users).

For Intro Sessions cancellations need to be made 9 hours prior. Late cancellations and/or no shows will incur a $5 reactivation fee.

Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. Cadence Pilates reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary.


OTHER:

1. ACCESS

All new clients must attend an intro session before attending classes.

Intro Session:

  • Intro session is a 1:1 with a Cadence Pilates instructor providing a health and fitness screen and introduction to the Pilates reformer.
  • Before attending any Cadence Pilates classes booking and attendance of a Cadence pilates 1:1 INTRO SESSION is mandatory
  • I understand that if I don’t book this class I will be turned away from attending any classes until I have attended my 1:1 INTRO SESSION.
2. USE OF EQUIPMENT & SAFETY
  • For the safety of you and others, please follow all equipment operating and safety instructions on the equipment. If you are unfamiliar with the equipment or are not sure as to the correct use please ask for assistance from one of the Cadence Pilates Instructors.
  • For safety and hygiene reasons grab socks must be worn to classes. Grip socks are available for purchase in the studio. If you don’t have grip socks you can be turned away from attending the class.
  • For your own safety please ensure you have a safe set up and appropriate equipment to safely participate in our Online Classes in your home.
  • The warm up is a critical part of the Cadence Pilates class. For your own safety and out of consideration of the Instructor and others in the class, should you be more than 5 minutes late for the class you may not be able to join the class.
  • The Instructor or treating physiotherapist reserve the right to restrict members to a particular class for safety reasons.
  • We do not offer creche facilities in our studios. Children are not permitted in the studio at anytime and are not to be left in the reception area while you attend classes. You may be turned away from the studio should you arrive with your children. This is for the safety of your own children and other clients attending the studio.

3. PREGNANCY
  • If you are pregnant you must inform your Instructor and we can assist you to modify the exercises for your safety and appropriate to your stage in pregnancy.
  • You must attend a 1:1 Physiotherapy assessment at 16 weeks to go through exercise modifications, alternatives and recommendations.
  • Written medical clearance from obstetrician/GP/midwife in charge of prenatal care clearing you for exercise after 16 weeks is required.
  • We recommend pregnant women attend Cadence Refine sessions from 16 weeks onwards.
  • If remaining in general Cadence Pilates classes after 16 weeks, monthly 1:1 Physiotherapy assessments will need to occur between 16-30 weeks to monitor class appropriateness, technique and safety. Then fortnightly 1:1 sessions from 30 weeks until delivery.
  • Our standard physiotherapy consult fees apply for 1:1 sessions.
4. PRIVACY

A member’s private information (as that term is defined in the Privacy Act 1988) will only be used by Cadence Pilates or Go Cardless Pty Ltd. to provide you with the services contemplated by this agreement. Go Cardless privacy statement can be found on the website at www.gocardless.com. Cadence Pilates’ privacy statement is available on request from reception.

5. PAYMENTS BY DIRECT DEBIT

If paying by direct debit the member agrees to the instalment amount at the agreed payment frequency until this agreement is terminated by the member. Should there be any arrears in payments the member authorises Cadence Pilates through Go Cardless to debit the outstanding balance in order to bring the account up to date.

6. PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD

Credit card payments will be debited from Glofox utilising a third party payment system.
